Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) chapter of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists
of Nigeria (AMLSN) has flagged off this year's edition of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Scientific Week today with the theme "The Role of Medical Laboratory Scientist in Molecular Biology
Diagnosis."
In a statement made available to HealthNewsNG.com, the organizing committee stated that activities commenced today with a
free Medical Outreach to the state’s Government House located in Rayfield, Jos
Capital city.
Opening ceremony will be held tomorrow, Wednesday June 19 at the Hospital's Permanent site premises located in
Lamingo, Jos with a keynote address by Da Francis Bot, the Chief of Staff
Government House, Plateau State.
The free medical outreach continues the
next day, 20th June in two different locations within the state, they are Mado village Tudun Wada and Kabong area.
The committee also revealed that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will hold on 21st June, within the hospital premises.
The program will be capped with a dinner
night on 22nd June where the 2012/2013 set of interns will
officially be sent forth as they are nearing the completion of their internship
training.
