This year's edition of the Prof. Olikoye Ransome Kuti Lectures Series is underway in the Old Great Hall at the University of Lagos. The annual lecture which is meant to eschew the virtues of the late former health minister is meant to direct the attention of stakeholders in the health sector to the pressing health challenges of mothers and adolescents.
This year's edition will be delivered by the Governor of Ekiti state, His Excellency, Governor Kayode Fayemi who is already at the event.
In his opening remark, the chairman of the event, Nobel Laureate Prof Wole Soyinka, ably represented by his son, the honorable commissioner for health in Ogun state described the late professor as a pionner health advocate who contributions to the Nigerian health sector revolutionized the practice of medicine till today.
