With the number of individuals living diabetes expected to rise to 592 million in the next 20 years, British Medical Journal (BMJ) has introduced an online postgraduate diabetes qualification program.
"There is no better time to equip yourself with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle this chronic disease and make a difference to your patients' lives," BMJ said.
"Our online Postgraduate Diabetes Qualifications from BMJ and University of Leicester can help you do this and we are currently accepting applications for the September 2014 intake. The deadline for applications is Friday 3 August 2014."

The online course starts on Monday 8 September and once you've signed up, BMJ will give you access to its new Waiting Room - an area to familiarise yourself with the online learning platform.
