Old Students Drum Support For Emergency Healthcare Education

Old students of Government Secondary School Owerri, Imo state capital have stressed the need for students, teachers and other members of the institution to take the issues of health, security and safety serious. 

According to the 2003 Old Boys Association of the premier secondary school in Imo state, the issues of health cannot be overemphasized.

At a forum held in the school premises, members of the association demonstrated several procedures that could be carried out during emergencies. They showed participants how to carry out simple lifesaving procedures such as mouth to mouth resuscitation.

The event was attended by representatives of Sterling Bank, members of the school's governing council and old boys of the institution including MC Ash, and Festus Onukuba of PMPi who delivered the keynote address
